During a five-day accessibility and inclusivity course, our team explored ways to improve self-care experiences for visually impaired individuals. Focusing on shared hostel environments, we redesigned a shampoo/conditioner bottle to be more ergonomic and intuitive. The form allows the bottle to hang on the user’s arm or bucket, reducing the need for constant gripping and making it easier to carry and use.

This project highlighted the importance of making deliberate design choices, whether to actively include the often-overlooked 20% or to leave space to be built upon.

Note* the research is based on a specific case study and the outcome is at a concept level.
